Macris Aeronautical was founded on a simple belief: aircraft owners deserve aviation support that is personal, flexible, and built around their specific needs.

Our story is also rooted in an unconventional path.

Before aviation became the focus, our founder, Yianni Macris, built a career in government, public relations, and executive operations. Those experiences shaped the way Macris Aeronautical does business today: with a strong emphasis on communication, professionalism, attention to detail, and understanding that every client relationship is built on trust.

But aviation was always the destination.

In 2021, Yianni made the decision to pursue flying professionally, beginning the journey toward a career in aviation and eventually establishing Macris Aeronautical. As the company grew, so did its capabilities. What started with a focus on specialized support for general aviation has expanded to include aircraft ferrying and repositioning, contract pilot services, operational support, aircraft management solutions, and coordination services for owners across Western Canada and beyond.

Today, Macris Aeronautical is proud to support both Canadian- and U.S.-registered aircraft, creating greater flexibility for clients who operate across borders. Our experience continues to grow across advanced piston aircraft and business aviation, including Cirrus aircraft and Cessna Citation operations.

We remain particularly passionate about serving the owner-operated aircraft market. We understand that no two aircraft owners, missions, or schedules are the same. That is why we take a tailored approach to every operation, whether it is repositioning an aircraft across the country, providing professional support in the cockpit, coordinating aircraft logistics, or helping simplify the day-to-day demands of aircraft ownership.
